Stories from Ashingdon Hall
Ashingdon Hall is proud of the service we give to both our clients and their relatives during difficult periods. Word of mouth is our best advertisement and here we quote some of the many compliments we have been given.
Thank you for taking care of my dad during his time with you, he looked upon the staff and residents as his new family and never mentioned going home after moving in with you.
We are immensely grateful for the assistance you and your staff provided to the family as we kept a vigil by mum’s bedside. In a difficult situation you showed great compassion and understanding and for that we will always be thankful.
Our family would like to thank you and all the wonderful staff for the birthday afternoon for our mum, it was difficult for us to keep it a secret but it must oh been even harder for you, bearing in mind you are with her everyday!
Be very proud of all you do, you’re a unique bunch or carers and people.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the wonderful way you looked after my lovely mum while she was in your care. The warm, friendly and homely atmosphere at Ashingdon Hall comes down to those who work, and live inside.
On behalf of our family, we would like to thank you for the lovely VE day celebrations you laid on last Saturday. It was a lovely turnout, you all are very caring and loving and once again thanks for all you do for our dad.
All the staff have been very supportive of mum during her time at Ashingdon Hall and we don’t believe anyone else could have done more for her.
Thank you for all the love, courtesy and respect you have all shown both my mum, and us, you allowed her to pass away with the dignity she deserved and that that we will be eternally grateful.
Our heartfelt thanks to you all for your kindness and caring to our dear friend.
Just to say how much we all enjoyed Saturdays gardens party, especially the entertainer, it was lovely to see residents recognizing and singing along to all the old songs.
It was very clear how happy dad was to be at Ashingdon Hall and the transition of leaving his home and being in a residential home was seamless thanks to the compassion and professionalism of all the staff and the friendliness of the residents.
